In my past writing history, whether it was for school or for my own enjoyment, I had always found a way to evoke my thoughts and feelings into my work from past English classes to my own stories. While I would have to think hard on what I chose to share with the world emotionally as I am more reserved, I found myself continuing to process my emotions into my typed words to reflect how I really felt in the environments I was in. It was then that I would start writing blog posts in order to share my thoughts and progress on my English Composition class.
My Memoir assignment has caused me to reflect on a particularly scary time in my life, one where I never thought something so nerve-wrecking could happen as it made me realize just how important my family is and how quickly someone or something could be taken away from you unexpectedly. I have composed a first draft which is one part of my soon-to-be edited narrative assignment.
